• To educate junior golfers in all aspects of the game.

• To gain an official N.Z. Golf Handicap.
• To enjoy the great game.

This programme will be run on Thursday evenings.
3-30 - 4-00pm - Beginners ( 5 to 12 years old )
4-00 - 4-30pm - Advanced Beginners ( 10 - 13 years old )
4-30 - 5-00pm - Juniors with or without Handicaps (14 years + )
Cost is FREE to members of the club and $2 per day for non members (please feel free to bring a friend along)
The coaching will start at 3:30pm sharp (please try to arrive 10 minutes prior) and is being conducted by an NZPGA Professional, as well as being assisted by the parent helpers.
Playing is held after coaching. The juniors only have an hour to play the holes designated. If advanced players wish to continue playing after the hour, that is up to the supervising parent.

You may have your own clubs, however if you don't we will provided some for you to use on the day.
CLUBHOUSE & COURSE
Kaiapoi club house is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to come on any day and avail yourselves of what we have to offer.
NOTE
To conduct quality coaching, a split up of groups into age and/or ability should the numbers present on the day get too large.

PARENTS
Parents are encouraged to be present at all times during the coaching, for beginners. If you are unable to be present, please advise us in advance or attempt to find another suitable supervisor. This is for safety reasons.
COMPETITION
On the kids page on www.canterburygolf.co.nz there is a monthly competition running, where your child (by answering 4 questions-found on the website) can win 1 Spalding Golf dozen golf balls valued at $70. You've got to be in to win.
TOURNAMENTS
Throughout the season, we will run regular tournaments based on your ability.
JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS FILLED TO OVERFLOWING
Many Canterbury Junior Tournaments are having to turn away players. The 2006 programme will be distributed to ALL golf clubs and will be on our Calendar of events Check your Junior Notice boards for what's coming up also. If you don't want to miss out, don't leave it up to your Junior Convenor, put your entry in yourself. All Canterbury Golf run events now have entry forms online.
Sent out 6 times a year to all golf clubs and driving ranges in Canterbury as to what's coming up in Golf. For coaching programmes, equipment specials, tournament dates or results, seek out your nearest venue.
