Papanui Branch newsletter 2006

It’s been 12 months now since I took over the SBS Papanui reigns and started my personal involvement with the Kaiapoi Golf club. How the time has flown by!! As sponsor of your monthly SBS Wednesday tournament I have enjoyed meeting a large part of the clubs members and playing some golf on the challenging Kaiapoi course. It’s been great to see the club change and grow over this time and I look forward to our continued involvement and getting to know more of the clubs members. SBS is continuing to grow its branch network and the products and services it offers clients and it has been an exciting 12 months for Papanui branch in particular. SBS opened a new branch in Tauranga in April, has Blenheim branch opening in July and also plans for a new branch in the Christchurch region over the next few months. Watch this space! SBS now has a network of 14 branches throughout the country and Papanui has obtained an additional senior lender for the new financial year to help our branch continue to grow and provide the type of service for clients that most of the “Big banks” are envious of. SBS have launched a new internet on line savings product “i-save” which is currently earning on call interest at 7.0% and has some very competitive Investment specials available secured by our 137 years of history and now over $2.0 billion in assets. It would be great to see more of the Kaiapoi Golf club members become members of SBS also and be a part of an organisation focused on its members much like your own golf club is.
